Sounds like a great idea! Melissa & Doug have taken peg puzzles to the next level with their wooden Sound Puzzles. When each of eight musical instrument pieces are properly placed on the board, they cause simulated musical instrument sounds to play (a short line of "Old MacDonald"). Instruments include a trumpet, guitar, baritone, drums, harmonica, violin, xylophone and piano. There are matching pictures under the pieces. What a fun and unique way to reinforce cause-and-effect and matching skills, and to begin teaching about music. 9 x 12 inches. 2 AAA batteries are required (not included). Age 2+
