Small children are fascinated by these nesting wooden boxes, and find endless creative uses for them. They're fun to stack, and each box has its own sound. Children learn about sequencing and size relationships as they fit the boxes into each other and fit other toys and objects into the boxes. The five boxes in this set are painted in the warm colors of the rainbow: gold, orange, red, burgundy and purple. Each box is a cube, ranging in size from 1.5 to 4 inches on a side. Stacked height is 14.25 inches. Made in Germany from 1/8" birch plywood and finished with non-toxic colors. All corners are sanded off. For ages 2 and up.
