This working, wooden balancing scale introduces children to the concept of weight comparison. It is also a fun addition to play kitchens and grocery stores, for children to weigh their fruits, vegetables and meats. Four weight blocks are included in the set.
The balancing arm of this scale has has a small amount of tension added. This keeps the scale from being overly-sensitive, making it easy for young children to use while also giving them results that they can see and compare. Solid wood with detachable canvas baskets.
