Torno Torno, Developmental Toddler Toy

This unique, award-winning toy consists of a large wooden base that spins freely (like a "lazy-susan") plus 8 colorful squares and 8 chunky wooden balls that have dowels permanantly attached to them. Young toddlers will delight in placing the dowel-balls in the holes, turning the base, and watching the whirling forms turn around. Older toddlers will start to build with the hardwood squares, put "red hats on the red heads," stack colored shapes into sturdy towers, and explore how motion changes the appearance and stability of forms.
